Lump found in uterus

Hi there,

I had a gynaecologist appointment and during the examination, a small pump was found.

I have terribly long periods lasting 2 weeks. Lots of clotting. I have tiredness, bloating, pelvic pain, weight fluctuating, migraines - basically horrible pms followed by a long period.

now waiting for an ultrasound - in the meantime, does anyone have any idea what this could be ? Gynaecologist seemed to not want to speculate too much.

Have they mentioned fibroids to you? They are very common and cause heavy periods, bloating and pain

I did think fibroids would be an option, I just didn’t know if they affect PMS symptoms? Mine are so severe. Mostly is the fluctuations in weight that is difficult. I swell up! I can’t find any info linking this with fibroids?
