Science question from my six year old I can’t answer

DH and I are both A+ blood groups.

Does this mean the DC definitely are?

I know with for E.g. eye colour they wouldn’t both have brown eyes because we dp

And could be A or O blood group

Funnily enough there is another thread on this currently. Both my parents are rh+ and I am rh-

dh is group A, I’m group B and ds is group 0. Blood types are interesting g and cool

A is dominant so you could both have one A gene and one O gene. If that is true the there is a 25% chance of your child being O.

If your child is AB or B then you have been bonking the milkman!

That is a cool combination - if you had 4 kids then in theory you could have one with each blood type!

We have one 0, one B and one AB. Maybe we should have tried for a fourth kid to see if we could get the whole lot!

I think the heredity of blood type is not simple, it is complex. So best not to make assumptions and if someone needs to know their blood type they should get it tested and not assume it’s the same as one of their parents.
I am A rhesus negative and my husband is A rhesus positive. My first child is O positive, my second is A negative and my third is A positive.

Both my parents are o positive and I'm o negative. They are my biological parents.
