Can anyone advise how we begin to change my husband health services ( as above) from South England up to North England when we move?

Thanks in advance xx

Hi. I recently had to do something similar for a friend who came to live with us who had cancer.
My experience was that it basically all starts with registering with your local GP when you move, as all locally delivered care needs you to be registered with a local GP.
In our case, his oncologist also did a consultant to consultant referral to our local oncology department, so it was pretty much up and running for when he arrived with us - but, again, this required at least the name of the local surgery he was going to be registered at.
So, I would suggest identifying who your surgery will be when you move, and contacting them. And also speaking to your current oncology department to see if they will do a hospital to hospital transfer of care.
Good luck ❤️ I hope your husband’s care and your move go well.
