Hi everyone. I'm so stressed, I have really bad health anxiety so this is terrifying for me, I'm pregnant and got my bloods done a few months ago at my first midwife appt, these were my results (attached pic) I don't know why but I'm only now seeing them on my notes, and I'm so scared, some of them are over range and I can't stop thinking I've something badly wrong with me, can someone confirm these results?

hello, I also suffer from health anxiety but I am a lot older than you ...but if there was any danger about your results I am sure the Drs would have called you in . Especially with you being pregnant. I do know what you are going through though x

Perfectly normal results.

The highlighted ones are those that are most indicative if there's a problem. All are normal.

DurhamDales · 01/05/2023 10:02

They are fine - not a problem

JellyBeanFactory · 01/05/2023 10:10

All fine, which ones are worrying you?

If your health anxiety is so bad, why not leave it in the hands of the professionals?

newmummie · 01/05/2023 10:40

Thanks everyone for letting me know their normal! The one that really worried me was the white blood count & red bc, I feel as if it was high and over 'normal' as well as the MCHC, Google basically told me I have kidney cancer. Very aware Google's the worst but with the health anxiety it's hard not to Google . & with leaving it to the professionals unfortunately with health anxiety it can sometimes take more than the professionals for reassurance unfortunately.

You're reading it wrong, a couple are very marginally out of range (the ones with a *) but not enough to indicate a problem. Normal ranges are just an average guide, some people will be slightly out and your results would have been read by a professional and checked.
Pathologically abnormal would be way out of range. None of your results are in any way worrying and if they were, you'd have been told about it by now.
If you have health anxiety, you should seek treatment for that. Reading blood results and Googling them isn't helpful.

(Not a Doctor but a nurse and I do read a lot of blood results).
