Abdominal Rebuild and Binder

Hi

10 days ago I had a massive abdominal rebuild operation. I had this operation (although not at this hospital - https://www.yorkhospitals.nhs.uk/seecmsfile/?id=2943 )

I have to wear a Velcro deep abdominal support 24 hours a day (other than in the shower) for the next 3 months and then during the day for another 9 months.

Literally looking for practical advice

today after my shower I was - knickers, Velcro binder, then super supportive leggings.

However - at bedtime…. I need to pee during the night and if I have my binder over my knickers, that’s a lot of undressing with loud Velcro during the night. Is binder, knickers, shorts okay overnight so I can pull down my shirts and knickers without disturbing my binder at 3am okay..???
