Colonoscopy - results question

Just got back from a surveillance colonoscopy after I had 4 polyps removed 3 years ago.I opted for sedation but was still awake during the procedure. A few places were quite uncomfortable as they were going around the bend so they offered me gas and air, which made it bearable. Report said no polyps found so no further action which I’m really delighted about but now I’m home the report states Limitations- unresolved loop. Does this mean they missed a bit ? They didn’t tell me but I’m worried that as I quietly said I was uncomfortable that they didn’t do it fully so it’s my fault. What does it mean- does this mean that they could have missed something? My bowel prep was excellent apparently.

Not sure but colonoscopies only go so far so perhaps there was a part they couldn’t get to? I often need an mri after as they can’t see where my IBD ends. I’d call and ask though

I googled this (I expect you have too) and it seems to suggest a bit may have been missed due to an patient’s pain during the procedure. If you have any concerns though I’d called the bowel screening nurse. They usually invite you to call if you have any queries so I’m sure they’ll be happy to offer further advice and/or reassurance.
