Zoe healthy eating app - has anyone tried it?

I keep seeing ads for the Zoe programme which seems to be all about improving gut health and finding out which foods to eat. I would like to improve my eating and general health.

As it’s rather expensive, I wondered if anyone had actually tried it and whether they had positive results?

Following as I’d like to know more, and how you can get the ZOE upper arm blood sugar monitor.

I think the sugar monitor is part of the package.

I tried to sign up this morning for a July start but my bank wouldn’t authorise the payment for some reason. Will try again later.

The testing is very useful. Then you pay for months of getting "scores" for your meals which is not rocket science and you can figure that one yourself once you know if you respond poorly to sugar or fats or your microbiome is a bit sparse. I'm not renewing it.

Well I’ve signed up for a July start.

@HowardKirksConscience the blood sugar monitor is part of a study they are recruiting for and is optional.

@WonkyFeelings

Thank you. I see some reviews are less than positive but I hope this will finally tell me what I should and shouldn’t eat!

It just struck me that most of the many MN threads about Zoe programme are on the Weight Loss board. And yet the claim that their programme will help you lose weight is really tenuous, they have no proof that their programme ever helped anyone lose weight. Not any more than any other personal coach healthy eating plan programme did, anyway.

Good luck. Hope you feel better, however that happens.

I think you are paying for them to capture your data. Will it make a vast difference to your health if you eat porridge versus a poached egg for breakfast I really think not. Eat minimal ultra processed food, eat some yoghurt/kimchi/kefir, lots of different plants , eat in an 12 hr window or less and don’t drink your calories.

It's just the Freestyle libre 2 with Zoe branding, as a diabetic I suggest buying direct from one of the many sellers and using the official app.

A bad Zoe app cannot be saved by customer services
