Hi I need help before I start planning the music to my funeral!

I've found a 1cm lump - 11oclock - attached on L breast.
I've got to wait over a week and half to be seen by breast clinic.
All I got when the doc saw me was 'the earlier it's caught the better!' 'It's best you take someone with you to the appointment for moral support!

I'm a nervous wreck. I've got 2 young daughters, I just don't want to worry anyone by saying much until I know for sure but it's taking forever.
Thanks for reading.

I found a lump on my breast when I showering at the start of a two holiday abroad . I made an appointment with gp as soon as I was home and then went for a scan and biopsy . I too was a nervous wreck . Even more so when results were inconclusive and I had to have the lump removed. As it happened it was a cyst and nothing worse . You have to think positively that you are now going to get answers and it may well be nothing or it may be something BUT you have been proactive and are going to have it investigated. Do you have any one for moral support ? It is scary to face things like this but you have done everything right by seeing the GP and being referred

This happened to me in Nov 2019 - I was also a total wreck, I misread emails at work and generally couldn’t cope for the two week wait to be seen. It was just a cyst. I know it’s impossible but is there anything at all you can do to relax and distract yourself - audiobooks/TV/hobbies? Can you see friends to distract you? Anything to take your mind off it. The vast majority of these sort of lumps are nothing to worry about. Sending strength!

Just 9/10 lumps are benign. I've been to the breast clinic twice with fibrocystic lumps at 11oclock at my nipple. Apparently they can form there. It's really important to get anything you find checked out. Good luck next week.

Thank you - I'm new so don't know how you tag to reply to people.
I've got my husband coming with me and my parents are collecting our kids from school.
Thank you, Its just I did the stupid thing and googled, and then I was dead and buried.
I've got a busy few days with my kids so it will keep my mind busy. It just on a night I tend to over think, when they're in bed in its all quiet and my mind gets loud.
I had abnormal cells last year so was in and out of hospital for tests and biopsys, loop... (cannot spell it lol) ect and then got all clear just felt like I've got over one hurdle to come right into another.
