Diarrhoea

I had stomach pain all weekend and ended up at the gp yesterday. Was told I had the start of a stomach ulcer, told to take omeprazole and eat a plain diet.
Then overnight I have been to the toilet every hour, with green watery diarrhoea.
I’m now wondering if that means it isn’t an ulcer?
Also wonder what if anything I should try to eat, I don’t feel hungry at all but yesterday managed fruit and sandwiches.
Any help appreciated, this is a new low!

It is a listed side effect of Omeprazole, it should settle soon. Or you could have picked something up at the surgery? Germy places!

You don’t also take gabapentin do you? If you take stomach meds you need to leave 2 hours before taking gabapentin or that causes severe Diarrhoea too.

I don’t take gabapentin but also didn’t realise it could be a side effect of omeprazole.
It is the most extreme diarrhoea I have ever had, 24 hours and counting of using the toilet every hour.
