Hi. I'm just looking on some advice.
Last night around 11pm I went to go to the toilet (bowel movement) but I proper pushed to the point of giving myself a headache and only got wee balls.

Fast forward to 4am and I had the same, only this time after wee balls came out I was flooded with severe stomach pains, cold sweats, pins and needles and feeling faint - which then had severe diarrhoea.
Went to bed and woke up at 9am this morning and went to the bathroom, sort've done like a wee 'pass of wind' but wasn't wind at all was some diarrhoea but seemed like it was coated in blood - when I wiped the tissue was also covered in blood.
It's not 10:17 am and I've had around 2/3 more bouts.

(I was in contact with someone this week who seemed you have stomach bug incase that's important)

Has anyone ever had this and it's passed with no worries or at what stage do I try get myself checked out.

I think you should get this checked out.

Not normal for a bug so I’d get it checked out.

It may be that you've got piles and the straining to pass has caused the blood. Plenty of fluids. Maybe call 111 if you're worried.

Rang my doctor this morning as I’m still In a lot of pain and passing blood again. She’s advised me to go straight to a&e to get checked out.

How are you doing now @Nmmck93 ?

Nmmck93 · 24/04/2023 16:13

@mintz been checked out & suspected bacteria infection that I caught from my workplace (i works with children one of which had severe diarrhoea Thursday and Friday and she said she things his was an infection due to me picking up this and everything else being clear and it can last up to 5/7 days without an antibiotic which is the option I chose.
Told me lots of fluids, paracetamol and loads of rest.

Feeling a little bit better now but not 100%
