Does this look like an eye infection?

My left eye started hurting thursday evening. I had been wearing my contact lenses all day, so I thought the pain could be caused by dryness.

By friday morning the eye was very slightly swollen and sensitive, but I didn’t think much of it. Saturday was the same, still slightly red and sensitive.

Today my eye looks significantly more red and swollen. It has gotten quite painful too, so now I’m worrying maybe I need to contact a gp?

The pain started in the outer corner of my eyelid and is slowly spreading across the entire lid if that makes sense.

Yes it's infected. I'd go to the pharmacy as a starting point. They sell ointment for infected eyes and will advise if that may work or you need to see the GP. There should be one open on a Sunday near you if you Google it.

It looks painful

Bathe with warm salt water compresses throughout the day. Looks like a style forming.
