Painful left breast

For around the past 6 months at the same time every month, and about 2 weeks before period, I get this painful left breast round the side. It's tender/sore to touch.

Any ideas what it could be, as it's 2 weeks before period I'm not sure it could be related/hormonal.

I don’t know but I’d advise you to go and get it checked at the GP, any breast changes should get checked out. There’s dozens of things it may be, but the GP can put your mind at rest

Completely agree that you should get it checked by GP, but I get a painful left breast too (never my right) and everything is ok. It is just hormonal. So hopefully, for you, it’s just the same.
