Reoccurring sickness linked to anxiety?

I am worried about reoccurring nausea/vomiting. On Sunday morning I woke at 3am with the worst cramps and sickness feeling which then led to vomiting. I spent all day feeling really weak and as if I had knotts in my stomach. I was sick again around 6pm. This is the 5th or 6th time I've caught a bug since December, I say bug but I really feel like something isn't right and there is more too it. Before this I couldn't even tell you the last time I was physically sick, even throughout both my pregnancies, but now it's happening every month.

I have been referred to physio for lower back problems and I am waiting to hear if I need to see a rheumatologist as they believe it could be more an inflammatory problem so I'm wondering if this could be linked?

I am also on the waiting list for therapy for anxiety, I know it can cause me to feel sick so it doesn't help, but not sure this would cause me to wake up from a deep sleep to be physically sick? I have been waiting since February for CBT but I do feel I may need medication before this as I can feel it getting worse and I am struggling to cope/controll it.

I really need to find out what is causing it, it's getting me down and makes me feel very fatigue for about a week after. I've always put it down to stomach bugs but it is not normal to go from never catching them, to now getting one every 4/5 weeks. There is definitely something not right.

I'm just wondering if anyone has any advice or experienced similar? I had my bloods checked in January and they came back fine. Is there any other tests I could have? Could the anxiety be causing the sickness?

Oh no sorry to hear this, sounds hideous.

I know it sounds obvious, but have you added anything different to your diet?
