My eye has been itchy and red all day. Not sure if it's from dust as been cleaning. It keeps watering and is now getting gunky. Can anyone advice best to treat it as pharmacy is obviously closed?

Boil up some water and let it go cool, decant into a clean container and use that to clean your eye regularly to prevent build up of goop.

It could be hayfever, so if you have any antihistamines in the house try taking one of those. Hayfever is crazy this year, something to do with excess birch pollen apparently.

Yeah I did have hay fever a few weeks ago, I've been itchy like made though so may have infected it.

This will work.

Put cooled boiled water in a dish. Add half a teaspoon of turmeric powder. Give it a stir and let it settle. Dip a clean piece of cotton wool in, squeeze into your eye like eye drops. If you don’t experience an immediate improvement, the conjunctivitis will be gone by tomorrow.
