Help with blood test results

I've got some blood tests through Ferritin is low (21) Heamocrit low (below reference level) and MCH is high (above reference level)

Can anyone give any insight please? GP has said blood tests are Normal but I am unsure. Ferritin is communicate patient (they haven't yet)

I have had a low of bowel surgery and a section of small bowel removed, bit concerned I may not be absorbing iron and possibly B12 / folate properly.

I was put on folate and b12 supplements when my MCV was high and I had low iron. They said it was something called Macrocytic Anaemia. Can't remember the other results. I was on supplements for a few months and then they re tested.

If you have had somethjng wrong with your bowel, you may want to take the supplements under your tongue - I take vitB12 this way as I don't appear to absorb it well in tablets but the folate supplement seemed fine.

When they call, it's worth asking.
