Pain, nausea and vomiting

I’ve been suffering since October with frequent bouts of chest pain, nausea and vomiting - often with the chest pain waking me at night and needing to stay sitting upright for a period for things to resolve. In many ways it reminds me of gallbladder pain but I had my gallbladder removed 30 years ago.

I was taking ozempic for some of this period and attributed the regular vomiting to this, but the vomiting started before I started taking the ozempic and I haven’t taken any for the last 4 weeks and it is continuing.

As my sleep is interrupted I am constantly tired.

Does this just sound like stress induced indigestion or has anyone experienced anything similar? Even before Covid times it was virtually impossible to get a GP appointment at my local surgery and I’m not sure if this warrants it or if I am suffering a bit from health anxiety.

Feeling a bit stressed this evening. I was referred by GP to a gastroenterologist who has done some blood tests and said he wants me to have an MRI of my pancreas and an endoscopy. My sister died of pancreatic cancer 5 years ago so I’m really sensitive about pancreas issues. (I’m adopted so there is no genetic risk just a memory of what she went through)
