Hi everybody

I have recently had a baby but since 9weeks pregnant I've struggled with Misophonia.

Since I've had my baby it's gotten worse. I feel very stressed out with it and it's affecting my mental health/personality. I've tried every ear plug I can find but nothing is working.

I can't even sit on the sofa with my partner anymore without feeling very stressed. I know this sounds awful (if you know nothing about Misophonia) but when he breathes my whole body language changes towards him, i feel disgusted!

I'm wondering if anybody has suffered with this? If so, how do you control it?

I'll try anything at this point. Tia x

I've always been sensitive to eating/breathing/mouth sounds and I found it got a lot worse after I had a baby too. I've found the loop ear plugs really useful. I can still hear things but they seem more separated out and easier to deal with. I know you say you've tried ear plugs, so I'm sorry if that's not helpful. But if you haven't tried those ones yet, maybe give them a go.
