I am ill. Before now I have been able to boast that "I am hardly ever ill".
Last week my voice went and I was off work Monday and Tuesday. Wednesday and Thursday I went in and I was more or less told to go home as I was coughing everywhere. I couldn't sleep at night for coughing. I really thought I was getting better but this week I am so congested I can't decide which is the worst part of this and it seems to be dragging on and on........ I can't breathe!

ThomCat - I am not at work but I feel the same. My voice went too, never happened before. The day before that dh said I sounded like I was on 60-a-day.

People like that are always humbling Santa.

I'd never lost my voice like that either, it was mad, lasted for ages.

STILL having problems with my voice after, wait for it, FOUR WEEKS! No sign of appointment with specialist yet either - am getting VERY fed up and convinced I'm going mad as I have no cold symptoms, can whisper fine and sing fine but can't talk - voice seems to get stuck somewhere. VERY odd. Any ideas before I a)convince myself I'm a complete headcase or b) self diagnose myself with every disease I can find on google?

Fed up with my stinking cold which started two weeks ago and is only just showing some sign of abating. Sick of all the snot, snoring and mouth breathing I'm having to do. AAAAGGGGHHHH!!!!

I stood up yesterday and have hurt my back yesterday. I work in a nursery and have 2 young children so when the Dr said rest I thought to myself yeah right!!! Oh well struuggle on I suppose.
