Intraductal papilloma

In 2019 I had intraductal papilloma had surgery to remove milk ducts I now have painful lumpy boobs with some leaking blood stained from nipples don't know what to think so worried

The wretched things can recur so don't worry too much.

I have had multiple papillomas and surgery and still have a couple in situ. One came back 3 times (!) and was eventually removed via a wide excision which did the trick. I had the blood stained discharge and huge painful cysts which had to be drained every 4 weeks. All histology has been benign.

You do need to be checked though so get a GP referral asap.

Hi, I'm being investigated for blood stained nipple discharge too. Had mammogram and ultrasound, now MRI. The discharge had some atypical cells (3 on a scale of 1-5). Sorry I don't have answers since you've already had surgery for papilloma, but just wanted to let you know you're not alone . Bit scary getting all the tests and uncertainty.
