Protruding vein breast

I'm 42 and recently gone through lots of tests to find answers to my symptoms which started last October.
I had awful nausea for months, loss of appetite, weight loss (2.5 stone about) amongst other things.
I had CT from neck to groin which didn't show anything and a gastroscopy (small hiatal hernia but nothing significant).
Liver function was high at the time but I think it went down after more recent tests.

I get lots of random aches mainly back, chest (fleeting) but in general I feel a bit better than I did and am eating more now. I am still losing weight though which concerns me.
I've also had quite painful breasts before my period which I've not had before. It's more around the nipple area.

I haven't checked my breasts properly tbh until recently because my aunty found out she had BC a few weeks ago which prompted me.
I have a protuding vein in one and think I can feel some lump deep inside but I feel a bit idiotic going back to the gp after all the tests I've had.

Can anyone tell me if the CT scan would have shown breast tissue?
They were looking at my lungs, kidney, bowel etc basically a full MOT but I never mentioned about the breast pain as it was at the back of my mind with the other things going on.

I know I'm getting older and possibly perimenopausal but should I get this protruding vein checked and possible lumpy bits or would it have been picked up by now?

I’d get them checked.

I would also get it checked, OP. Best wishes

Very glad to hear this. Obviously I hope it’s nothing. Please let us know what happens, if you are up for it. Take care and, sincerely, try not to worry. I say that as someone who was recalled after a routine mammogram so it isn’t completely fatuous. (I was fine). Best wishes x

Thank you poetry. Doctor was lovely and didn't make me feel stupid at all. Still telling myself not to worry as hope anything would have shown on the previous CT. X
