Hello everybody!
I've got myself a cold, and I am feeling absolute rubbish. Headache, runny nose, cough and constantly sneezing.
I've rummaged through my cabinets and found "ASDA's Flu-Max All-in-One Chesty Cough and Cold Powder" (https://groceries.asda.com/product/cough-syrup/asda-flu-max-all-in-one-chesty-cough-cold-powder-sachets/910000347875)
There is no info on the website, but is it safe to take during pregnancy? I have only taken paracetamol so far, but I am feeling worse by the minute.

No, sorry. Stick with plain paracetamol, and use a saline nasal spray and steam inhalation to clear your nose.

I'm not sure I like all the cold/flu remedies on the market , can lead to Paracetamol overdose .
I agree you should take just Paracetamol tablets then you know where you are .

Thank you for confirming! It's a bit of a bummer but worst case scenario I'll have to call in sick tomorrow. Which isn't so bad I just feel absolutely rubbish. Wish my day off was for something fun, haha.

You can’t take anything like that in pregnancy, sorry.

Paracetamol, saline spray and steam. Vicks vaporub. Honey and lemon tea. Lots of sleep.

It’s crap, but what can you do. Medical advice all says no.
