Home sleep apnea test

Just looking for recommendations for home sleep apnea tests? Am trying to book to see GP but it’s so hard to even get an appointment let alone a referral so am thinking of at least doing a private home test first.

anyone used a company that they can recommend?

Not sure about home test but my GP referred me today for a sleep study.

Thanks I’m going to keep trying with gp I think. Based on what I’ve read a proper sleep study might be more accurate.

I wore a device on my finger overnight while asleep at home.
The consultant said he would not refer me for a sleep study as this was not needed as my results were so obvious, they showed I wasn’t getting enough oxygen repeatedly every hour.
My main symptoms loud snoring, gasping, stopping breathing while asleep. My husband reported all this. Extreme tiredness. I could fall asleep with a cup of coffee in hand. If someone else was driving I slept.
He told me I had to stop driving until I was legally safe.
