Dental stitches not dissolving

I had a couple of teeth removed over a week ago and have white dental stitches that I assumed were dissolving, dentist didn't say and j didn't ask !

They don't seem to want to go and everything is healing but they remain. Any advice as can't contact dentist until next week.

My daughter’s took about 3 weeks to go.

Oh maybe I should be patient

Yes, they annoyed her a bit and were quite itchy. It was just as the first lockdown started so she didn’t get her post op check up for almost 2 years!

Ring the practice tomorrow to check.

I was told a week. 6 weeks later there were still bits hanging around.
