Blood test - low folate?

I recently had a blood test as I have been struggling with shortness of breath and fatigue post covid.

I was looking online at the results and I noticed that my folate level is 3.9 ng/mL (3.3-99,999). GP has written ‘borderline - no further action’. My B12 was fine 360 ng/L (160-910)

My serum C reactive protein level is 30 mg/L (0-10) GP has written ‘satisfactory - no further action’

Even though GP has said it’s ok, do you think I would benefit from taking a folic acid supplement?

I recently had a similar result and have started taking one - I try to eat more veg to get it naturally, along with all the other nutrients veg contain but on days when for various reasons my diet isn't so good I do take one. Though tbh I don't think there's anything wrong with taking one every day - they actually recommend every woman of childbearing age takes a supplement to prevent spina bifida should they accidentally/ deliberately become pregnant and, as you can see the acceptable range goes massively high so I figure it can't do any harm and could do some good. They're also readily available and cheap.

That’s what I’m thinking, it wouldn’t harm and might make me feel less crap.

I’m thinking of taking Vitamin D too my level was 37
