Dentists!

I'm starting to get tooth pain, I think I need a filling. So I have called my local dental practice who I have been with for 25 years only to discover I have been removed from the books. As have the rest of my family

The dentist I normally see has left the practice! Which is why we have been removed. The other dentists at the surgery have full books and a full waiting list.

Obviously I have been calling around other dentists, but everyone is full. I'm an NHS patient and I cannot afford to go private. I don't know what to do, can anyone help?

I know our practice don’t even count dental pain as an emergency - which is ridiculous when it’s agony, but there is an out of hours dental service in an emergency so if you need urgent dental help contact 111. To try and find a new dentist have a look at the link below. Good luck!

If after contacting several dental surgeries you still cannot find a dentist accepting NHS patients, call NHS England's Customer Contact Centre on 311 2233 0300 311 2233.
