Itchy dry patch on face

Please could someone help? I have an itchy dry patch on my face and I don’t know what it is. It becomes hot and itchy and if I scratch it it goes red and bumpy (it isn’t noticeable but uncomfortable).

if anyone knows what this may be please let me know as I am unsure what to put on it to help!

I have added some photos- it is hard to see as I have not scratched it- it is the dryish patch in the centre on the photo.

@Cookie768 my DS gets these , firstly don't scratch ,I know it's maddening but it makes it worse . This is what we do if it feels hot and itchy we put a cold water cloth compress on it to take out the heat and try and reduce the itching. If the skin is dry cetraben ointment is what I put on as cream can cause a terrible burning sensation on my DS skin.
