Could someone advise please. We are waiting for an advanced polypectomy colonoscopy and it’s likely to be a few months before we get an appointment. We are planning to go on holiday in May and the insurance company will not cover us until we have the procedure.
I was thinking of the NHS e referral service as we will travel to any hospital within reason to get the procedure done. How do I go about applying? Do I contact the GP? Do they need to give us some sort of reference number or log in?
Or do I just need to wait?
