Bruises

I'm in my late 50s and for as long as I can remember I have bruised very easily. My mum was the same. Nothing has ever shown up in routine blood tests so I'm wondering if it could be diet-related? Do I need to take a supplement maybe? I've been veggie since the age of 18.

My family are the same. My kids, me, mum, grandmother. Blood tests were normal for all of us. Then saw a geneticist and we have a connective tissue disorder.
Are you hypermobile at all as this often causes bruising?

This started happening to me about 10 years ago (I'm now 51) but has got progressively worse. I've been told it's because my platelets are low but not really given any advice on whether or not it can be fixed 🤷🏻‍♀️

I bruise easily and have a connective tissue disorder - I’m hypermobile too.

Thanks everyone, I'm not hypermobile but my son is, funnily enough.
