My palpitations started when I started fluconazole, I have since been to a&e who did bloods and ecg which was normal, however I am terrified that I have the rare abnormal heart condition that fluconazole can cause, it says online it can only be diagnosed by an ECG and my anxious mind is saying what if it wasn't triggered at the point because online says it can come and go through the day, I have spoken to doctor who said he's happy for me to continue it with the results but honestly I don't think I want to take it anymore. The palpitations are constant even when I'm working and not thinking about it I will just have a thump thump thump and feel like my heart is racing. Has anyone had this from taking this medication? It just seems a coincidence that it started as soon as I started taking it regularly
