should i go to the doctors? throat infection or just a cold?

dd and ds have had a cold for the past week, dd gets viral wheeze, which i took her to doctors for on sunday and is on inhaler, but she is still not eating very well. she seems perky enough today, having milk and water, but still not interested in food - maybe cause she cant really taste t the moment? maybe im just being a bit neurotic and should just let them rest a few more days before docs again. ds has gone back to bed this morning, so obviously a grotty bug. i have t too and feel a bit grim - any suggestions for the bambinos? sorry to drivel on, not had much sleep.

If she's fairly perky I wouldn't bother TBH, you'll only get told it's a virus !

thanks liath, i was thinkng that, also we'd have to walk in the cold, get ds out of bed etc, not sure if its worth it to be told that!

I always do the chocolate/ice cream test with my kids. If they are feeling really bad they refuse it. If they say that they will have some I always give it to them. The sugar in it makes them feel a little bit better and sometimes you can then get them to eat a little healthy food.
