Does anyone take Dianette?

I started on Dianette last week as 1, DHs snip didn't work so need some pills until he gets a redo, and 2, my skin is shocking so the doc agreed that Dianette could help.

However since the weekend I have had awful nausea and dizziness, and actually vomited last night and this morning. (sorry).

Now I'm not sure whether it's the Dianette, or whether it's a viral thing co-incidentally as I also have another stinky cold.

Has anyone else had nausea/dizziness on Dianette?

Hi there, I was on Dianette for years a while back but didn't have any problems. Maybe you should call your doctor to be on the safe side, maybe it just doesn't agree with you. (It could be your cold though)

Dianette did wonders for my skin!

Dianette literally changed my life! I had terrible skin, and then went on the Dianette and I was a changed woman!

Never had any of the problems you mention - maybe give it another few weeks and see how it goes?

I have been on Dianette for just over a year and not had any problems (didn't do much for my skin either, but that's another story!)

From your symptoms it sounds more viral-y. However that doesn't mean it's not the pill that's making you feel rough - anyone can have a bad reaction to any medication. See how you are in a couple of days, perhaps, and then get back to GP?

Thanks for your replies. I feel slightly better this afternoon, so might wait until my cold has gone and then if I am still dizzy and sick I know it's not a virus!

Hanaflower - interesting that you said about getting nauseous in the morning - I am taking mine in the evening and was thinking about changing to the morning, so thanks for that.
