So after a few investigations and considering when my palpitations and chest tightness started, it seems clear fluconazole is causing my symptoms...I can't find much online about this causing it as it seems a rare side effect. I have all the symptoms of a heart attack but I did go a&e last night and all my obs were normal including the ECG.
Doctor did bloods but I had to self discharge for reasons so I do not know how that turned out, but the palpitations are so bad, I have a call from the doctor tomorrow who I imagine is going to take me off the 6 month treatment but I keep thinking the worst as I have seen online that it says to go a&e if you have these symptoms... even though I already have but I don't know the cause as I didn't stay. But nurse did say she has a feeling it's the fluconazole as that's when it started and I imagine it's that aswel - has anyone experienced this before? I'm just worrying so much about it and I called a&e to try and get my results and they told me I will need to come and re book in to speak to a doctor or wait a few days as it automatically gets sent to GP
