Sore breasts?

I am experiencing sore breasts. It doesn't seem to be in relation to any particular time of the months. I had my period last week. My breasts are sore. It seems to be pain that is going from one to the next and back again. It's on and off pain and tenderness.

I wonder if this is common with peri?

Yes I get this (am 50 but still have regular periods). Used to get sore breasts just before period, now they come at random times but are seriously painful!
