I was prescribed an anti biotic that interacted with a medication I was currently taking, the doctor told me they weren't sure but should be fine (didn't even check) and I took it together (not together at least an hour apart) and I ended up experiencing stomach pain, diarrhoea and I was having palpitations so I researched and it said there was a serious interaction! This made me panic I was so worried, I called 111 who said straight away a&e so they can do an ecg - doctor who saw me said there was no need for an ecg and my observations were perfect and he listened to my heart which was also fine. He said don't take anymore anti biotics and contact doctor on when to take the next tablet for my thrush treatment. Since leaving a&e two days ago I am still experiencing palpitations and chest tightness - I do suffer with anxiety so I am wondering whether the potential of how bad this could have gone wrong for me has triggered it anxiety, my hands are also very sweaty which I know is an anxiety symptom. I keep thinking the worst but don't want to bother a doctor again. This has been such a scary situation for me :(
