Achey - am I just old??

For a little while now, I keep getting a recurring pain in my knee joint when I’m going up and down stairs, it’s fine on the flat.

I’ve seen a physio, been given some exercises to do, which is fine but it just seems to come and go.

Added to this, just lately I just had this like dull heavy ache in my legs, right now my arms too - I feel like I’ve done a load of exercise but I’ve done nothing except walk the dog and much as I’d like to go to the gym my knee’s too painful 😣

Will I sound silly going to the GP? I never used to feel like this!! I’m 45, am I just getting old??

Six months ago I was running/gym regularly but I just feel constantly too achey to do anything now, this can’t be normal can it? Should I ask for blood tests?

It is aging but try giving up sugar for a bit (even totally if you can manage it)
Quite a lot of pains are caused by inflammation which is made worse by sugar.

Im the same age and Ive noticed this a lot lately especially in my elbows/ forearms. I believe it’s declining hormone levels, Im due to see my GP soon & will be asking her about it.

Ahh, good point yeah could be - my periods have been all over the show since forever so that’s been no different but it could well be this.
