Knee Fat Pad Impingement

Has anyone had arthroscopic surgery to treat Intrapatellar Fat Pad Impingement? It’s been recommended to me, and I’m wondering if it’s worth it. (Recovery time, etc…) I’m not exactly an Olympic athlete. (Mine caused by years of hypermobility and hyperextension, not actual exercise.)

Hi, what method of treatment did you choose? I have this injury also, very debilitating. Currently trying to let the initial inflammation settle with lots of icing and rest.l, then will move onto a strengthening programme. Hope your knee is feeling better now.
