I'm struggling terribly with gut issues and in a panic right now as I feel so ill. I'm emetophobic and fragile. Another night at 5am awake, in pain and trying not to be sick. I heard that Gaviscon double action stops other meds from working, presumably because of the coating in the stomach. How long does that effect last? Sometimes I need to take triptans, prochlorperazine or other meds in a hurry so I'm worried about the double action thing having any interaction or stopping them working.
I have EDS and related gut issues, but have been much worse following food poisoning and Covid. This is crushing my mental health and controlling my life. It's exacerbated by hormones when it's like full on morning sickness, except it's been going on for years and it's torture. Any advice or support would be most welcome.
