Coeliac bloods

Hi guys.

Does anyone know how long it takes for coeliac blood screening to come back? It’s been two weeks today for me now and nothing back.

im quite worried really as my other blood results were all over the place and if it’s not coeliac then I’m dreading to think what it could be. Other bloods included abnormal u&e’s, high infection markers, low iron. Physical symptoms include dramatic weight loss without trying, fatigue, stomach pains often, constipation, headaches.

I thought these bloods would be back by now for the coeliac screening but maybe it does take longer.

I’m also waiting! They say 1-2 weeks so you’re should be in soon.
Good luck!

Thank you. Just feel like I’ve been waiting an eternity and with everything else going on I just want to know either way.

I had it done twice this year and both times it was 2-3 weeks, gp had to chase it up in the end

I am coeliac, been diagnosed about 9 years. My daughter is also coeliac, I remember the signs being almost identical to yours and yes, the bloods took around 2-3 weeks to come back. We both then had to have endoscopy which confirmed coeliac straight away. It takes a little getting used to but once you start to heal you will feel so much better. Any questions please ask, happy to help 😊

Thanks guys. Heard nothing yet and it’s been 2 and a half week.

had further bloods done on Thursday and my U and E’s had improved but I still remain low in iron and vitamin b12. I’ve got a doctors appointment on Thursday to discuss this so hopefully might have the coeliac results back by then and get some clearer answers.
