Eye problem - gp or optician?

For a couple of days I’ve had a weird thing happening with my eye. It comes and goes but I think I need to see someone about it.

Its like there’s a little patch of blurred vision in one eye. Hard to explain but kind of a line of haziness down the middle. If I turn my head it goes, then comes back again. Don’t have it when I wear my glasses.

Would an optician be the first post of call? Then they would tell me to see a gp if my eyes are okay? The eye is twitching a bit too so I’m not sure if that’s related?

Optician definitely and usually quicker to get seen!

Optician - they are generally brilliant for things like this.

Optician

ok that’s great. Should be able to get an optician appointment for tomorrow, as opposed to a couple of weeks for gp!

Optician first. I recently had an issue with a persistent eye twitch and the optician did a thorough check and then wrote me a letter to take the GP. They can also refer you straight to hospital if they think necessary
