Eye problem - gp or optician?

For a couple of days I’ve had a weird thing happening with my eye. It comes and goes but I think I need to see someone about it.

Its like there’s a little patch of blurred vision in one eye. Hard to explain but kind of a line of haziness down the middle. If I turn my head it goes, then comes back again. Don’t have it when I wear my glasses.

Would an optician be the first post of call? Then they would tell me to see a gp if my eyes are okay? The eye is twitching a bit too so I’m not sure if that’s related?

Optician definitely and usually quicker to get seen!

ok that’s great. Should be able to get an optician appointment for tomorrow, as opposed to a couple of weeks for gp!

Optician first. I recently had an issue with a persistent eye twitch and the optician did a thorough check and then wrote me a letter to take the GP. They can also refer you straight to hospital if they think necessary
