Finding a gp

Dd recently moved 2 hours away
She filled in online form for local gp, that should cover her address. Heard nothing and sent in proof of address.
Last week he had a health issue involving a trip to a and e and requiring a scan . A and e sent letter to nominated gp. They then called dd and said she wasn't on the list as their books were full.
She really needs the scan and to see gp as issue is ongoing.
Too busy at work to come home to do this
Only option seems to be on hold phone call to nhs England during her working hours which isn't possible.
She has tried all of the surgeries that say they cover her area.
Any ideas ?
This is just ridiculous
No wonder people have to turn to a and e !

Goodness me. I went through this when I was a student a long time ago. I moved to a new area and nobody would take me on. My dad was a GP himself and got on the phone demanding I be taken on by my local surgery. Started ranting about all the tax and NI he'd paid in this country and his service in the NHS I think and I was taken on quite swiftly.🤐 Anyway, that was way back and probably not the recommended route.

I don't know if the following link will help ; www.healthwatch.co.uk/advice-and-information/2019-01-23/registering-your-gp-understanding-your-rights

Or you could try Citizens Advice who respond to emails.
