I would definitely have something else. Maybe something light if the protein smoothie was filling

Timetochangetheoil · 12/03/2023 18:21

What happened to dinner?

schmalex · 12/03/2023 18:21

It really depends on how tall you are and how much you weigh, how much exercise you do and whether you're trying to lose weight, maintain or put on.

There do seem to be a lot of snacks.

TwilightSkies · 12/03/2023 18:21

If you are hungry then eat. Listen to your body.

Ragwort · 12/03/2023 18:23

Too much food for what? Are you trying to lose weight? Are you hungry?

Why do you need total strangers to tell you whether or not you should eat something ? Hmm

Zaliea · 12/03/2023 18:25

I think it's fine.
For comparison today I had:

Breakfast: Slice of brown toast with 2 scrambled eggs and a bit of grated cheese on top

Lunch: A tuna mayo sweetcorn and cucumber sandwich

Dinner: Onion, garlic, broccoli florets, baby sweetcorn, green beans, kidney beans, grated cheese

No snacks but 2 instant coffees and about 5 teas with skimmed milk (no sugar).

Perfect28 · 12/03/2023 18:27

You don't have dinner?

Todaynotalways · 12/03/2023 18:28

It's not a huge amount.

It is very sweet though, I'd imagine you'd fancy something savoury by now.

Choconut · 12/03/2023 18:29

That all sounds super healthy, I'd definitely be having dinner though.

NuffSaidSam · 12/03/2023 18:30

Snack- 2 choc covered rice cakes with peanut butter and sliced banana & sprinkle seeds

This sounds delicious! Great snack idea!

MollyMunster · 12/03/2023 18:30

Did you post the same question yesterday?

Too much food for what? It depends what weight and height you are, how much exercise, whether you’re trying to lose or gain, and exactly what portions you had, as well as how hungry you feel.

This feels quite disordered to me, are you ok?

LIZS · 12/03/2023 18:30

It does not feel very balanced. Are you following a particular diet?

Alwaysworryingoversomething · 12/03/2023 18:30

The rice cakes with peanut butter sound nice. I might have to try that.

Zaliea · 12/03/2023 18:33

Agree with PP that the rice cakes with the peanut butter and banana etc sounds lovely. I always struggle to eat fruit throughout the day. Find it a lot easier to shove lots of veggies in an evening meal. Don't often fancy fruit. Banana and grapes are the only ones I ever crave. Might give that a go op

midgemadgemodge · 12/03/2023 18:36

A cup of rice and a tin of tuna sound like enough for 2 reasonably active people
( unless your cups are small)

Similarly 2 yogurts at breakfast sounds like a double breakfast

It's hard to say without knowing portion sizes, and your sex, weight, age and exercise levels

Mrsjayy · 12/03/2023 18:39

Too much food for what? Where is your dinner are you wanting people to say stop eating you have had a rice cake too much ?

GlassBunion · 12/03/2023 18:59

I thought so too @MollyMunster

GlassBunion · 12/03/2023 19:00

No OP

It's not a lot. You need a dinner.

MouldWatch · 12/03/2023 19:04

Hmmm. I don't think dinners, or even "meals" are necessary, some people snack throughout or have many smaller meals and it fits them better. It depends on what the calories are in what you have consumed OP and what your expenditure is.
