The documentary was so hard hitting but from my experience 2 weeks ago with an emergency with my mother in law it is so accurate to the workload of the staff in A & E and the Ambulance staff. I was truly shocked with the state of the NHS and emergency services . There were people in corridors on drips and being accessed as there was no where to put these patients and the waiting room had 2 prisoners attached to 2 Police officers and a poor mentally ill girl attached to 2 police officers also ...is it any wonder are police and Emergency services are under so much pressure! There are obvious signs that the Mental health & social care is a breaking point as you could see a large number of patients waiting on A & E Should not have been there. What is the solution ..I really don't know but the Government has to get a grip on this crisis and fast as people are dying ...fact !!!!

I saw this, absolutely shocking. Heartbreaking people telling their stories of watching their loved ones dying, when it could have been prevented.

Watching this now. Standard day in the ambulance service.

Not watched, but I am also not sure what the solution is.
If you call the crisis team, they sometimes say to go to A&E.
People shout for solutions to MH issues, but can never say what they want. Some people deny they are ill. Paramedics can not force them to go to hospital, hence why you need the police. If you are under a police section (136), they have to stay with you until you are passed on to a 136 unit...and A&E is not one.

When I was at our local hospital last week, we counted 15 ambulances outside a & e.

I caught the last 20 mins on TV last night. Having to use WhatsApp when dealing with a patient who has had a heart attack?? And the rigmarole that followed. No wonder that young paramedic resigned.
