Need advice for mri results

Hi bit of background, I have hand tremmors and I went to see a neurologist and he ordered blood test , nerve test and a mri. He had stated in his letter to me after the appointment that if no significant reasons come back for an appointment then he won't be back in touch as he wasn't concerned about my tremmors.
The blood and nerve test came back okay but I went for my mri last Thursday and on the following Thursday I had a missed call then a text with a hospital appointment to go see a neurologist does this sound bad, I'm going out of my mind with worry I keep thinking that it's something serious and I'm worried for my children I've booked an appointment with my gp tomorrow to see if they can tell me as i can't wait any longer

The MRI report won’t necessarily have been sent to the GP. If the neurologist ordered the test, the report will be sent to them and the GP will likely just receive a letter with the information after the neurologist has seen you.
Did you see the neurologist privately or NHS appointment?
They may not have remembered that they said they wouldn’t see you and it could simply be a case of automatically calling you in for a follow up. How long is it until the follow up?

The MRI might have shown the cause of your tremors and he wants to discuss a plan of action/ treatment with you. I'd see it as a positive.

It's next Tuesday when I go back to see him and yeah it was nhs I've been thinking it's really bad.
