Eye Spasms and Twitches..?!

Anyone else had this?!
My eyes have been going crazy for the past few days - twitches and weird ‘spasms’ / jumpy vision. I’m blinking and winking and everything and everyone. I’ve done the one thing I said I wasn’t going to do and googled it 🤦‍♀️ regretting that now!

We’ve recently moved house so there’s been a fair bit of stress and I haven’t been sleeping too well. Has anyone had this before and did it go away? 🤯

I get it and it's linked to how tired I am and how well I slept the night before. Sleeping cures it for me.

I get this a lot. It’s definitely related to not sleeping well in my case.

I've had a few but I put that down to adjusting to a new prescription in my glasses. Stress, not sleeping...they can do it. Opticians will check your eyes if you're worried.

Thanks everyone! That makes me feel loads better. It’s really frustrating - feels like I’m not in control of my own eyes!

Stress, no sleep or too much coffee - my eyes go twitchy and jumpy with any combination of these. I also got twitchy eyes when I was pregnant. I wear glasses and get my eyes tested fairly regularly and optician has never found a problem.

Yep, I had this and other weird twitches all over my body. It was so bad I saw a neurologist. It was stress. The body does weird things to cope sometimes. Just relax. (Easier said than done)

Oh God yes. I've had a twitchy thumb and a twitchy toe (not at the same time). And the occasion random one in my arm or top lip for the hell of it. They're like anxiety attacks, I reckon - the body does it because it can.
