Anyone else get back and hip ache when they start with a cold?

I was in agony last night, it hurt so much! Does anyone else get this? Is it what my granny used to call rheumatics?

I do My arthritis in my lower back really aches on the first day of a cold and all the lenght of feverish illnesses. Hope you feel better today.

I do feel a bit better. I started my period as well, just to make it all perfect.

Have just spent the last 2 days with aching back and legs - caught dd's lurgy - ugh, rheumatics makes me sound as old as I felt - you have my sympathy!

I spoke to my mate this morning - she has the same cold, and the same hip and back pains. spooky.

ohhhh i wonder if my cold/sore throat, has also cuasedmy hip/back ache.

iwas wrackingmy brains wondering why my hips were bad again?

I had spd , in pregnancy in 2001/2002, and its always been 'wtih me' since, yet my hips have been really playing up.

i am also 39, maybe its rheumatics coming on.

I do - but yes I have a rheumatic disease so 100% due to that!
