What could this rash be?

I’ve got this odd shaped rash at the top of my leg, it doesn’t particularly hurt and is I bit itchy but not itchy like bites are. Anyone know what it could be?

Looks like ringworm, it has a spot in the middle and a ring around the area.

It does look like ringworm although the chevron pattern of patches of it I have not seen before. You could try over-the-counter topical creams like Daktacort or Clotrimazole, which did not work for me. Fungal infections can be persistent. My GP put me on griseofulvin tablets for months, which slowly cleared it up.

Thanks I will pop to the chemist and ask. Today it feels like pinpricks, the best way I can describe it is like when a clothes label rubs on your skin and makes it feel prickly.

Could that be shingles? It's only on one side of your body.

It did cross my mind it could be shingles especially as it’s quite prickly but it doesn’t seem bad enough to be that as I always thought shingles made you quite unwell and very painful.

It is only in that place, looks like this today.

Did you go to the chemist, I wonder what they said it was? It looks to be drying up and healing. When I had ringworm it took several weeks to go, so maybe it’s not that.
