Apologies for the extreme close up. My eyeballs seem a funny colour at the minute. Like blue with yellow corners? They're a bit itchy too, could this be a bit of mild conjunctivitis 🤔

Could you be anaemic? Sometimes sclerae can take on a blue-ish hue to signify another condition, anaemia being one of them.

I don't know, at my last blood donation a couple of months ago my iron was ok and I have been taking supplements but I suppose there's always a possibility!

Do you have a connective tissue disorder?

Maze76 · 24/02/2023 17:50

I have this and in my case it’s due to having dry eyes. My eyes are itchy, feel like there’s something in there. Book an appointment with the Optician.

Not that I know of, the only health condition I have is gallstones

OP - I'm sorry I have no idea. An eye test is a good idea, but unless you're in lots of pain - which I assume you're not and you don't have a condition which means you don't feel pain - will wait until next week.

It can be the result of iron deficiency afaik.

Primroseprimula · 03/03/2023 15:38

I had this onece except it was painful, doctor said it was Episcleritis and it eventually went away on its own.

Make a GP appointment

ZeroFuchsGiven · 03/03/2023 15:40

Yellowing of the eyes can be a big sign of problems with the Liver, i would go get checked out.

Somuchgoo · 03/03/2023 16:12

My daughter has similar. She has some health problems but none of those listed as far as I'm aware. I've always noticed a bluish tinge from birth, but no medical professionals have picked up on our, so I'm assuming it's mummy paranoia at the moment.

She did have iron deficiency for a while but that resolved with supplements, and it's been there from birth.
