Lymph nodes(?) in armpit

Hi all,
I discovered painless lumps in my armpits,underneath the skin. Not painful,I would rather say it's a certain kind of unpleasant feeling. It's been there for nearly 6 months. Soft to the touch and tender,as well. I went to my local doctor few weeks ago but he could not feel anything there. It's well visible though.
(Sorry for my hairy armpit,I haven't been shaving it lately to see if that could cause the problem but supposedly not.)

Is that lymp nodes at all?

Hello have the same issue right now. I have more fat in my armpit than the other one. Getting an ultrasound this Friday to see what it is. Hoping for the best. What did they end up telling you ?? Any news ??

I would suggest going back to your gp or try seeing a different one and get a thorough examination: explanation of what is going on.

I'm surprised you haven't been sent for a scan, it could just be extra fat though.
