dd2 has had molluscum for months and months now
a couple have dissapeared, more have come

I thought I should be ignoring them
but they are now getting very itchy at nigth and she is waking with blood on her vest and jammies and waking herself at night

I gave her medised at bedtime for the itch and some clamine lotion on them fro a couple fo night which worked but it didn't work last night
what else can I do???

I think you just have to leave it Trinity. Are they on her body, so covered up?

Ds1 had them on his chest for a good 18 months. Within the last 4-6 months the original ones popped and then a few more appeared but then they disappeared pretty quickly.

Perhaps hers are also coming to end if they are bursting - as I say, a few more may crop up but I found that they went away much, much quicker than the original ones.

Ds's have all gone now.

Is this the spotty rash often found in armpits? If so, then my friends daughter had it and her DH research on internet, discovered silver was good and made a home-made silver cream. Rash disappeared really fast.

He should have patented it because it's now being widely marketed!

Here's one Tetrasil. Might be worth a try if nothing else is working.

I went to the dr when my dd's got itchy, the gp prescribed some cream which really reduces the itchiness and redness of the worst ones. It doesn't make them go away, but makes dd much more comfortable.

I am using colloidal silver at the moment on dd's molluscum and they are starting to look a bit red so I think the silver is having an impact. When they burst they tend to clear up (the big one on her back went away after the top came off after a bath - helped by me and a bit of tissue!!)

both my DSs have had it. We used a lotion called Eurax. It reduced the itching and made them comfortable.
