How long CA125 test and Amylase to get results

I had these tests today, requested by my GP.
How long until I get the results?
I mean do they take long?
Getting very worried.

The results will be processed today. Do you have the NHS app I get my blood results on that usually within a couple of hours. This may depend on the hospital though.

I do have the app, but it's not there instantly usually.
Would the Dr/ surgery contact me if any bad results? I mean like soon..

I read online that it takes many weeks like 6 weeks to had it processed..

Ca125 will be 24-48 hours. Amylase can take longer, but would the Ca125 appear on the app? If it's abnormal its a bit of a bombshell to drop without a consultation

Do you think if any abnormal reading, would they call me?

When DH's CA19-9 came back as very high (normal is -35, his was in the 000s) he was called within 24 hours by the GP.

Yes, they would be in touch very quickly if it is abnormal

OP, a few years ago I had a CA125 test on the Friday morning and I was called by the surgery at 8am Monday morning as the results were back and I had an appointment about an hour later.

So take away the weekend and it was under 24 hours.

But things have changed so it may be longer these days. But they'll call you if it's abnormal, as mine was.

I read somewhere that it now takes weeks..

all of them do.
